1. General Provisions
These terms and conditions apply to all offers and agreements where Stop-Sub.com provides its subscription cancellation service to the user. Prior to entering into an agreement electronically, these terms will be made available to the user. If this is not reasonably possible, Stop-Sub.com will explain how the terms can be reviewed and ensure they are provided upon request, free of charge.
If the agreement is concluded electronically, these terms will also be accessible in a way that allows for easy storage on a durable medium. Any deviations from these terms must be agreed upon in writing.
If a provision in these terms is deemed void or unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect. The parties will negotiate a suitable replacement clause. Stop-Sub.com may update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes implies acceptance.
Information on the Stop-Sub.com website is provided with care, but may contain errors. In case of discrepancies between the website and the agreement, the agreement takes precedence.
2. Prices and Payment
All prices are listed in the specified currency and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments must be made in advance or according to the terms listed on the invoice. Users are not entitled to suspend payments or apply deductions.
Stop-Sub.com reserves the right to transfer, sell, or pledge its payment claims to third parties.
3. Agreement and Right of Withdrawal
An agreement is formed when the user accepts Stop-Sub.com’s offer under these terms. For online agreements, confirmation will be provided electronically. Consumers have the right to cancel the agreement within 14 days of its conclusion. This can be done via email or using the cancellation form provided on the website.
4. Service Description
Stop-Sub.com helps users cancel contracts with third parties by providing cancellation tools via email, standard mail, or registered post. The service is based on a best-effort commitment.
Users must only submit cancellation requests for contracts they are a party to, or when authorized to act on behalf of another person. Stop-Sub.com does not guarantee the correctness of the chosen cancellation method and is not liable if a method does not meet the receiving party’s requirements.
5. Delivery and Processing
If the user chooses to send a cancellation by mail (standard or registered), Stop-Sub.com will dispatch the letter promptly. However, timely delivery by the postal service is beyond its control. The selected delivery service will be based on the user’s chosen sending method.
Requests made during weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day. The user is responsible for the accuracy of provided details, such as email addresses. Stop-Sub.com aims to send out letters within 24 hours on working days, but cannot guarantee this timeframe.
If a third party changes their cancellation policy, Stop-Sub.com will try to update its system promptly. However, it cannot be held responsible for using outdated procedures.
6. Liability
Stop-Sub.com’s liability is limited to ten times the fee paid for the service. It is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect or late cancellations due to user-selected methods, or for damages related to policy changes from third parties.
Stop-Sub.com is not liable for indirect damages, including lost profits or data, or business interruptions. This limitation does not apply in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by company leadership.
7. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to force majeure, including government actions, power outages, internet disruptions, or delivery service failures. If such conditions last over 60 days, either party may cancel the agreement.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the service, website, and content remain with Stop-Sub.com or its licensors. Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the service as needed for the duration of the agreement.
9. Data Protection
Stop-Sub.com processes personal data in accordance with Dutch and European laws, using it only for service purposes. Usage data may be anonymized for statistical and improvement purposes. Personal data may be shared with third parties if legally required. Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to protect data.
